Botanical Formulations

Our formulations are safe, gentle, and effective. Lightly cleansing and conditioning products for the hair that don't weigh you down. Our body lotions are deeply moisturising,. Our soap is plant based and gentle to the skin.

We choose ingredients for a combination of the performance, efficacy and impact on the environment in which we live. Our Shampoo and Conditioners are both based on surfactants derived from Coconut Oil or vegetable oil. As our formulations contain water, we also use a preservative system to prevent against the harmful growth of microorganisms and extend the products shelf life. Giving you confidence, our formulations remain clean and stable, and are safe for your skin.

We choose our raw materials for their environmental performance based on peer reviewed studies from worldwide sources. Our formulations are based on ingredients derived from coconut and vegetable oils. Gentle on the skin and the environment. Safe for the ocean. Cheaper imported products and even big brand names claiming to be planet friendly are often loaded with chemicals designated as acute aquatic hazards.

Our signature scent was developed to specifically invoke the feeling of the Whitsunday's sea and forest - deep green mountains emerging from the blue clear water.

We exclusively use 100% Pure Essential Oils, derived from natural plant extracts. Unlike fragrance oils, which are synthetic and can dry out and irritate the skin, essential oils are known for their soothing and calming properties, both for the body and the mind.​

The refreshing elements of lime and bergamot are reminiscent of the sea and are balanced by the deep earthy tones of cedarwood and buddawood, representing the thick vine forest of the landscape.

Lime Essential oil has an invigorating, fresh and clean fragrance, energising and clearing the mind, coupled with the more subtle and sweet tones of Bergamot

Buddawood – erempholia mitchelli is a shrubby tree native to Australia which is wild harvested and the steam distillation process produces a rich smoky wood aroma, which is deeply relaxing and grounding.

To impart the feeling of the Hoop Pine forests to our fragrance, we have used Atlas Cedarwood essential oil, which gives a grounding and reassuring base, reminiscent of the hoop pine forests in the region.

Our products are all manufactured using GMP – Good Manufacturing Practice, a system that ensures traceability, quality, and cleanliness for all stages of the manufacturing process.

We never use microplastics in our products, or raw materials with persistent bioaccumulation properties. Many other companies claiming to be environmentally responsible do not consider the effect of their formulations on the aquatic environment.
